The Academic Affairs Department led by Assc.Dr.Ashraf Md. Hashim, the Academic Deputy Rector of MEDIU organized a briefing session with the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) personnel at MEDIU Learning Centre. The MQA representatives are Badaruzaman bin Abu Bakar, Director of Accreditation Division (Arts and Humanities) and Zamrin bin Salim, Senior Assistant Director of Standards and Qualifications Reference Division.
The MQA briefing begins at 10:00 am involved the Deputy Rectors, Acdemic Deans, Head of departments and MEDIU lecturer. The topics that are being covered in the briefing are the difference between LAN TC-01 and MQA-01 Document, Provisional Accreditation, Accreditation and Code of Practice for Programme Accreditation (COPPA) and Academic Performance Audit (APA) and Code of Practice for Institutional Audit (COPIA).
