Building Islamic-based education – MEDIU is committed in the internationalization of higher education, Sinar Harian (Business) 28/1/2019 (Monday) 

MEDIU’s Chief Executive, Professor Dr. Ismawi Zen has various plans to place an Islamic-based private university initially set up in Shah Alam over the past few years as a top choice not only in the country but globally.

The university currently based in Desa Petaling, Kuala Lumpur has attracted students from 100 countries all over the world as a new platform to offer learning through conventional and online learning in various studies.

Additionally, MEDIU is the choice of students who wish to pursue their studies for undergraduates levels due to the lower tuition fees compared to other private institutions of study. He states that MEDIU is realizing the ambitions of the Malaysian government to ‘internationalize’ the higher education sector in line with the government’s vision of making Malaysia as the Centre for Excellence in Higher Education.
