MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired its 19thEMC meeting on Friday, 5April 2013. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments as well as executive management level. Various agenda were being addressed and discoursed in the meeting.
The EMC has agreed and approved on the matters as follows:
– To assign ‘DR.HATEM MAZROUAA’, lecturer from the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Department of Tafsir and Ulum Al-Quran for the position of Assistant Deputy Dean of Postgraduate Studies for Scientific Affairs (online).
– To assign ‘DR. AHMED IMAM ABDELAZZIZ’, lecturer from the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Department of Tafsir and Ulum Al-Quran for the position of Assistant Deputy Dean of Postgraduate Studies for Student Affairs (online).
– To assign ‘ASST PROF DR HJ. WAN MAT HJ SULAIMAN’ as Chairman of Bidding Committee.
– To add ‘ASST PROF DR HJ. WAN MAT HJ SULAIMAN’ as a Member of the Building Preparation Committee.
– To rename the library hall in level 14 as “ASSOC. PROF. DR. MOWAFAK ABDULLA AL-KUSAIRY HALL”, as an honor to him for the services and loyalty to the University.
– To adopt the suggested ICDL program prices (only test) and (test and training) to get the base and standard certificate

– To amend on the EMC meeting minutes “MEDIUMYGOV5.3.1(13)017” in regard of nominating the 15 employees to post items at MEDIU English forum.
– To upgrade the speed of the internet from Time.com from 5 MB to 10 MB and to approve the current internet service provider due to the price different.
