A renewal memorandum of understanding (MoU) session between Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) and Open University of Sudan was being held on Monday, 20 May 201. Open University of Sudan was welcomed by MEDIU’s Honorable CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi and the delegation was led by the Chairman of the Institute of English Language and Translation; Dr. Omar Sheikh Hajo Mahdi, Director of Postgraduate Department; Dr. Abdul Khaliq Fadel Ali and Director of the Department of information Technology and Communications; Eng. Salah Al-Tijani Mohammed Helo. The renewal MoU session was being done in the presence of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Dr. Said Ahmed Saleh Faraj; MEDIU’s Academic Development and Quality Management dean; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mubarak Munssour Ebodey; Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences. MEDIU’s CEO expressed his gratefulness for the visit and the continuity of constructive relations between the two parties.
The discussion between both parties focused on ways to strengthen and activate the mechanisms of joint cooperation and development and expand the circle of knowledge sharing with regard to online education programs and tools, which MEDIU developed, in order to achieve their aspirations in the dissemination of science and knowledge of the most convenient ways. During the session, visual presentations of the University’s and its achievements were presented by MEDIU’s Deputy of Technical Department; Mr. Ahmed Nimer which provides an overview of the faculties and academic programs offered at the University.
Chairman of the Institute of English Language and Translation; Dr. Omar Sheikh Hajo Mahdi introduced their University potentials and briefed on various programs and future aspirations in ways of educational cooperation. The renewal of MoU session was signed between the two parties where Prof. Dr. Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al-Tamimi and Dr. Omar Sheikh Hajo Mahdi signed on behalf of their university respectively. The Open University of Sudan has collaborative relationships with MEDIU in academic and scientific fields, where they have cooperate recently in relation on the learning mechanisms to communicate with the students as well as collaboration in the field of academic programs and scientific research.
