An academic affairs council meeting held its 13th meeting for the year 2013 on Tuesday, 4June 2013. The meeting was chaired by MEDIUs’ Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs Division; Associate Prof Dr Hj. Wan Mat Hj Sulaiman and attended by the academic council’s representatives. In the meeting several agenda on academic affairs issues has been raised up and being discoursed in the session.
Few recommendations have been sent to the Executive Management Committee (EMC) for adoption and the main decision as below:
- Recommendation of signing a contract for ‘Mr. Ammar Hattab’ to finalize all the technical requirements before the beginning of new semester for Sept 2013.
- Recommendation of assigning ‘Yasser Abdul-Hammed’ to forward a periodic report (mid and final report of each semester) to the academic affairs division in order to give the lecturers the opportunity to write and review the questions.
- Recommendation of conducting an educational training for the academic staff that aims to enhance their skills of writing and reviewing questions. This training shall be offered with the assistance between Faculty of Education and MEDIU Training Center.
- Recommendation of approving assigning the following staff to be in charge of preparing the exam questions from all MEDIU centers:
