In the spirit of Ramadhan, IKIM.fm has invited MEDIU for their ‘Hayya Bil Arabiyya’ radio’s program to be aired in the holy month. Asst. Prof. Dr. Mahdi Abdel Aziz Ahmed Mahdi, Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences was invited to be the guest speaker for the recording program which was held in IKIM.fm recording studio on Thursday, 18 July 2013. He was accompanied by Head of Public Relations Department; Mr. Jamaluddin Hussain and Head of Marketing Department; Mr. Mohd Shahrin.
Dr. Mahdi’s background as an Imam and Khatib at the Egypt’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Waqaf years back has helped him in explaining the essential issues pertaining to Ramadhan very well. Several topics that have been touched during the footage session were the advantages of Ramadhan and its role in educating people to be an excellent muslim, the night of lailatul qadr, and the practices of zakat fitrah.
The program which is known as ‘Program Bicara Ilmu’ will be air on Sunday, 21 July 2013 at 3.30 pm 91.5FM. The program was conducted by Mrs. Mona Jazman, the Producer of ‘Hayya Bil Arabiyya Program’.
