MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 28th Academic Senate Meeting on Wednesday, 16 October 2013. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments and academic deans. Throughout the session, various agenda on academic areas were being addressed and discoursed amongst the senate members.
Among the discussions that have been agreed and approved by the senate members are as follows:
- To look into the recommendation letter by Ministry of Higher Education Department in regards to the enrollment of fifty-one(51) Malaysia-Egypt students to MEDIU.
- To approve the transfer of the President of the Editorial Board of MAJMA Magazine to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ab Rahim Ismail.
- To approve on the Students Affairs Division decision and procedures on the suspended students; due to financial outstanding limit for the semester of September 2013.
- To approve on the suspended students which will re-enroll for the upcoming semester of February 2014 with two conditions; paying a fine of RM500 and the resolved the outstanding fees.
