MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 29th Academic Senate Meeting on Friday, 18 October 2013. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments and academic deans. Throughout the session, various agenda on academic areas were being addressed and discoursed amongst the senate members.
Among the discussions that have been agreed and approved by the senate members are as follows:
- To award ‘SULEIMAN SANI KIBIYA’; student majoring Master in Al-Fiqh(Structure A) with Grade B+); as per clause(1)Article 87 of the Postgraduates Studies Rules and Regulations
- To award ‘MOHAMED AHMED MOHAMED ABDEL WAHAB’; student majoring Master in Ulum Al-Qur’an (Structure A) with Grade A(91%); as per clause(1)Article 87 of the Postgraduates Studies Rules and Regulations
- To award ‘MOHAMED ADEL ABDALLA’; student majoring Master in Da’wah and Usuluddin(Structure B) with Grade B(CGPA 3.83)
- To award ‘HANAN YOUSEF ALGHASSAN’; student majoring in Master in Fiqh (Structure B) with CGPA 3.91
- To award ‘JALAL MAHMOUD’; student majoring PhD in ‘Ulum Al-Hadith (Structure A) with Grade B+(76%)
- To award ‘BEN ZIDAN ABDELKABIR’; student majoring Master in Ulum Al-Hadith (Structure B) with CGPA 3.67
- To award ‘HUSSEIN ABDULQADER GAAFAR’; student majoring Master in Tafsir And ‘Ulum Al-Qur’an (Structure B) with CGPA 3.86
- To award ‘ZEINAB AHMED MOHAMED ELSHERBINI’; student majoring Master in Qira’aat (Structure A) with Grade A (90%); as per clause(1)Article 87 of the Postgraduates Studies Rules and Regulations.
- To amend the results of ‘HAWA ABDI MOHAMOUD’ for the semester Feb2013 in the subject (BBUS5064-Project Paper).
- To amend the results of ‘AISHA SULEIMAN IDRIS’ for the semester Feb2013 in the subject (BBUS2033- Research Methodology).
