MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired its 44th EMC meeting on Wednesday, 23 October 2013. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO’s from all respective departments as well as executive management level. Various agenda were being addressed and discoursed in the meeting.
The EMC has agreed and approved on the matters as follows:
– To approve on the recommendation for MEDIU’s registration in the Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU).
– To appoint ‘Dr.Amel Mahmoud Ali’ as Deputy Dean, Postgraduate Studies – Online.
– To appoint ‘Dr.Mohammad Rafik Islam’ as Deputy Dean, Postgraduate Studies (Admission Registration) – Online.
– To appoint ‘Dr.Mohammad Abdul Hamid Al-Charquaoui’ as Deputy Dean, Postgraduate Studies (Topic Bank) – Online.
– To approve on the recommendation by Research and Development Division on the implement workshop on ‘SCOPUS’ presented by the field expertise Dr.Wan Kamal Mujani.
– To approve on the recommendation by Research and Development Division on the implement workshop on ‘The Standards of Scientific Research’.
– To approve on the promotion of Mr.Ayman Kamel Salim Jaradat to ‘Asst Prof’ as he has been awarded with PhD in Information Technology from UTP.
– To appoint ‘Prof.Dr.Tengku Ghani Tengku Jusoh’ as external examiner for PhD in Arabic Literature and Literary Criticism, Faculty of Islamic Sciences.
– To approve on the external examiners for the undergraduates programs namely Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor of Information Technology (Management Information System) and Bachelor of Information Technology (System Development and Administration).
