MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired its 7th EMC meeting for 2014 on Monday, 24 February 2014. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO’s from all respective departments as well as executive management level. Various agenda were being addressed and discoursed in the meeting.
The EMC has agreed and approved on the matters as follows:
– To appoint ‘Mr. Wael Mohamed Shaher Yafooz’ as Deputy Dean, Postgraduate for Admission and Registration Affairs.
– To appoint ‘Asst.Prof.Dr.Ibrahim N Tadahoud’ as Deputy Dean, Postgraduate for Scientific Affairs.
– To appoint ‘Mr.Doucoure Abdou Samadou’, as Head, Academic Managements and Graduation Department.
– To appoint ‘Mr.Mahamadou Camara’ as Head of Academic Managements Unit’
– To appoint ‘Mr.Tayeb Mebrouki’ as Head of Graduation Unit.
– To create an employment structure for all the University’s division.
– To assign ‘Mr.Shaker Bani Melhem’ as a full time lecturer in the Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences.
– To assign ‘Mrs.Amal Abdul Ghany Gassem’ as a full time lecturer in the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology.
– To approve on the use of existing amount of students’ bond at the University for the liquidation of the remaining balance with the terms below:
- Parallel with or more than the student remaining balance.
- Use of the bond only if there’s a written request from the student.
- Student needs to show a certain ticket booking.
- To offset the outstanding balance from the student shall be applied only upon clearance of the student visa cancellation.
– To amend the EMC decision No.22 of 2012 on ‘the commission of students recruitment’.
– To ensure that students accommodation fees shall be paid directly in to the account bank.
