The university has step forward in extending bridges of cooperation and moving ahead towards achieving its objective and vision, as well to be in connection with international university by signing a memorandum with Najah University of Burao, Somaliland. The signing ceremony was held during the visit to MEDIU on Wednesday, 3 February 2016. The guests were welcomed by MEDIU’s Honorable CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi in his office in the presence of Deputy CEO of R&D; Assoc. Prof. Dr. AB Rahim Ismail, PR Coordinator; Mr. Ahmad Fallatah and Mr. Abdilahi Liban; Head of Admin Development and Training Department.
The session was signed between MEDIU’s CEO, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi and Dr. Hasan Sheikh Ali Warsame, Vice Chancellor of Najah University and witness by Deputy CEO of R&D; Assoc. Prof. Dr. AB Rahim Ismail. The MoU between the two universities collaborate efforts to establish and develop academic exchange and co-operation in teaching, training, research and development in the activities among others to promote exchange of online learning technologies, to exchange of information and materials of mutual interest, to promote and facilitate the exchange of research, teaching staff as well as students and others. During the session, theguest also discussed on the possibility in providing MEDIU digital library resources to be use by Najah University’s students.
