MEDIU’s General Manager of Morocco’s Regional Office; Mr. Yusuf Nasri received a guest Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Imam from Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Al-Hikmah University, Nigeria on 10 April 2010.
The two days courtesy visit to Morocco’s MEDIU’s Regional Office in the presence of Prof. Dr Rida Ibrahim from Cadi Ayyad University, comprised of a brief introduction about Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) programs and its student facilities as well as to develop a draft agreement between MEDIU and Al-Hikmah University. The most important contents that were exchanged between the two parties are in the field of advisory services, academic and administrative affairs. Al-Hikmah University agrees to provide some services to MEDIU’s students in Nigeria such as classrooms for the lectures, tutorials sessions and examinations. Al-Hikmah University expressed their desire to the relationship with MEDIU and hopefully it will be a fruitful cooperation through the establishment of potential practical and scientific programs that will be set up and organized by both parties
Among the matters that were discussed are the in terms of getting scholarships for those who wish to further their studies at the two universities, to make MEDIU’s Digital Library available to the students of Al-Hikmah University as well as cooperation in the field of educational consultancy to serve the Islamic science in form of seminars and scientific conferences activities.
On the last day of the visit, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Imam was brought to Cadi Ayyad University accompanied by Mr. Yusuf Nasri and Prof. Dr Rida Ibrahim, where the representatives of the three universities mutually agreed on the future cooperation by establish conferences and seminars by creating a path to the educational world in the field of Islamic Science.
