The delegation of Supreme Council for Sunni Islamic in Southern Iran visited Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) on Thursday, 7 October 2010 (28 Shawwal 1431H).
The visit was lead by the Founder and General Supervisor of the Higher Institute of Islamic Studies; Sheikh Abdel Karim Ahmad Ahmadi, Director of the College of Interpretation; Sheikh Mohammad Ali Amini, Director of the Faculty of Islamic Jurisprudence and Chairman of the Fatwa Committee; Sheikh Sayed Ahmed, Director of the Association Final Prophets; Mohamed Saleh as well as Mr. Saadallah Ahrrari and Mr Mohamed Farouk Rahimi.
The honored delegation was welcomed by Mr. Khalid Mahamat Idriss Ahamat, MEDIU’s Manager of Administrative Affairs Division along with MEDIU’s Academic personnel. An introductory presentation on the University’s, its current progress as well as its admission and registration process were being presented to the delegation and later followed by an office tour around MEDIU’s academic and administrative facilities.
The delegation expressed their admiration of the advanced level MEDIU had reached and fascinate with the convenient of the technology that has been used to deliver knowledge and information to the Muslim students all around the world.
The delegation also expressed their desire to collaborate further with MEDIU, enhancing joint cooperation between the two parties in the education field and wrote a speech in the guest book saying “We have examined the existing potential and future vision of the University’s and we were very pleased that such distinguished University exists and we were honored to be greeted by such great hospitality represented by the University’s officials.”
