MEDIU participated in The Annual International Qur’anic Conference, Kuala Lumpur

MEDIU academic staffs participated in the The Annual International Qur’anic Conference which was held at the Academy of Islamic Studies in University Malaya, Kuala Lumpur from 11-12 January 2011. The conference was organized by the Centre of Qur’anic Research University Malaysia and the Department of al-Quran and al-Hadith. The conference was an invitation to the academician and researchers who aspired to boost academic research in the field of the Qur’an and also to motivate and serve the science and knowledge of the Qur’an.

The participation from MEDIU with their research paper as follows;

  • Asst. Prof Dr Mansour Yousef Mohammed (Assistant Deputy, Academic Affairs)
    Research Paper: “Suyuti and his efforts in the interpretation of the Quran”
  • Asst. Prof. Dr. Umar Ibrahim Ahmad Ridhwan (Dean, Faculty of Islamic Sciences)
    Research Paper: “Wahidi and its method of interpretation”
  • Dr.Abdullah Ahmed Mubarak Bawadi (Head, Interpretation and Qur’anic sciences)
    Research Paper: “No compulsion in religion in the Qur’an”
  • Hussain Mohammad Ali Al-Besumi (Head, Academic Administration Department)
    Research Paper: “Alusi and the added to the nearest occasion in his Interpretation (the spirit of meanings)”
