MEDIU received a visit by the delegation Council of the AlEslah Organization in Kuwait on Monday, 25 April 2011. The delegations were lead by Dr. Alaa Husnee AlMazyan; Lecturer at the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM), and Mr. Ghulaam Ilahee; Director of International Association of Arabic Schools in the South East Asia region. The honored guests were welcomed by MEDIU’s Honorable Rector, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi along with Prof. Dr. Kamal Tawfiq Mohd Hattab; Deputy Rector, Academic Affairs Division and Mr. Hussain Mohammad Ali Al-Besumi; Head, Academic Administrative Department.
During the meeting, both parties discuss on the possibility of enhancing the educational collaboration, along with the methods to ensure its development and support, while benefiting from the special experience that MEDIU provides on the online education. MEDIU’s Chief Technology Office; Mr. Sirag Elnour gave an introductory presentation about the University’s and its achievements. The guests were also given a short tour around the University’s department, allowing them to witness first-hand on the high-tech facilities in MEDIU.
Both guests expressed their honored of visiting MEDIU by writing in the guest book stating;
