MEDIU honors its staff

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) recently was honored with the First Prize for the Best Website Award of 2010 under the ‘University College and Private University’ category; an award reviewed by the Ministry of Education. MEDIU’s Honorable Rector; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi expressed his gratitude and celebrated with the staffs on the success on Wednesday, 4 May 2011. Mr.Sirag Elnour; MEDIU’s Chief of Technology handed the award to the Honorable Rector for the appreciation and gratitude of the Rector’s constant support to the University’s IT department.

MEDIU’s Honorable Rector; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi congratulated the staffs on this great achievement and expressed his pleasure as MEDIU takes on further progressive steps towards in its information and communication technology. The University’s has embraced many new technological initiatives to assist lecturers, students and researchers in finding the appropriate and supportive educational environment to achieve academic progress. He also emphasized on the importance of giving more when it comes to achieving the educational goals while working as one team. 

During the gathering, the University’s management announced on the implementation of “Takaful” fund account for the University’s staff; wherein they will be offered loans, aids and support in the supportive Islamic spirit within the University. Apart from that, the “Best Employee Award” which had started since May 2011; where the chosen employee will be given a token and certificate of appreciation by the University’s management. The assessment will be based on factors related to the employee’s daily performance. At the end of the ceremony, the staff expressed their gratitude to the University’s management for the generous gestures and efforts to its staff.
