In order to strengthen the social ties and brotherhood bonds amongst MEDIU’s staff, MEDIU organized a family gathering for all the staff. The gathering was held on Saturday, May 14, 2011 attended by His Honorable Rector, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi along with the Deputy Rectors, deans and lecturers and the University’s staff and family members.
Honorable Rector emphasized that such gathering represent the University’s spirit and the role it plays in building bonds based on communication and mercy among the Islamic brothers. He also stressed that such events should be held more frequently in order to create teamwork and strengthen relationship between the management and their staff. The highlight of the gathering is a football match between the staffs as well as the management team. The games activities held during the gathering showed the University’s staff strong ties despite the differences in their origins and backgrounds.
