Takiah Mohd Iskandar is a Professor Emeritus in Accounting from the University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She served UKM for more than four decades since 1974. She holds a PhD from Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia. She has a Master in Accounting from the Bowling Green State University in Ohio, USA and a Bachelor of Economics (Specialization in Accounting) from the University Malaya, Malaysia. She is a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and CPA Australia. Her research works are published in national and international journals including British Accounting Review, International Journal of Business Studies, Accounting Research Journal, Accounting Forum, Managerial Auditing Journal, Jurnal Pengurusan, Asian Review of Accounting, Malaysian Accounting Review, Asian Academy of Management Journal, International Journal of Management Perspective, International Journal of Economics and Management, International Business and Economics Research Journal, International Journal of Corporate Governance, Asian Academy of Management Journal of Accounting and Finance, International Journal of Business Governance and Ethics, International Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Performance Evaluation, and Accounting, Auditing & Accountability Journal. She is currently attached to the Al-Madinah International University as a Professor.
