There is no doubt that each university has played its role in spreading and disseminating knowledge with its own capability and various sources, in this part, Al-Madinah International University and Government of the Republic of Yemen which represented by their Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research have signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The signing was held on Friday, 4th November 2011. The university was represented by Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO), Academic Affairs Division, Dr. Kamal Hattab whereby from the Yemen Government was represented by Dr. Iqbal Saeed Al-As, Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of Yemen in Kingdom of Malaysia
Based on agreement, the students will be sponsored under the scholarships by the Yemeni government to study many disciplines offered by MEDIU for the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees.
The signing ceremony of MOU was in the headquarters of MEDIU, with the presence of members of the cultural attaché of Yemen and the members of the Executive Management Committee and the deans at the university.
It is worth mentioning that the signing of a memorandum of understanding was made after the visit by His Excellency, cultural advisor to the headquarters of the University in Malaysia, and by which he was briefed on the most prominent academic and technical achievements. On the other hand, the parties agreed to build future mutual cooperation to benefit of the advanced level reached by MEDIU in various fields.
