Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) Rector; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi recently received a Delegation of Taibah University paid a three days visit to the University , on the 23th – 25th of May 2012.The delegation was led by the Deputy Rector of Academic Affairs; Dr.Shaya’a bin Yahya Al-Qahtany,along with Dean of the Distance learning dr.Ali bin mohammed Al-Dweedi , Dean of information technology; Dr. Mohammad bin Mohammad Al-Sariehy , Deputy Dean of faculty of Arts and Humanities; Dr.Fahad bin Mubarak Al-Harby , and Deputy Dean of Admission and Registration; Dr. Ahmed bin Omer Al-Haidary,Meanwhile, MEDIU were represented Deputy Rector and Senior Management.
The session begins with a brief explanation on the University’s background, Strategic plan, as well as presentations on the University’s experience in preparing the academic programs, and the university system in the field of scientific research. At the end of the session held workshops by the divisions, as well as undertook a field visit.
The delegation Impressed with MEDIU’s achievement within a short period of time, and willingness of further cooperation between the two Institutions. Hence, Deputy Rector, academic affairs wrote in the guests record” we congratulate for innovation and excellence we have observed during the visit, I believe that this university was a dream and become true by grace of Allah, and the efforts of dedicated men have made a lot of time and effort, and we wish MEDIU more success in the future.
