Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) hosted an honored guest, His Eminence Dr. Bandar bin Hamdan Al-Shammari on Friday, 12 April 2013. Dr. Bandar bin Hamdan Al-Shammari is the Head of Arabic Language, Faculty of Arts; University of Ha’il in Saudi Arabia. The honored quest was welcomed by MEDIU’s Honorable CEO, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi.
A visual presentation of the University’s, its goals as well as the faculties and programs available were presented to the guest. Brief explanations on the applied educational systems with the virtual campus-wide communication mechanism were presented as well.
Honorable CEO states that the orientation of the education system in MEDIU are taking into consideration of the individual differences among students to find patterns of educational methods compatible with the receivers; either through distance learning or conventional method. This is to ensure that the educational process is in accordance with the required scientific standards while striving to keep pace with the development of educational affairs in the global world.
At the end of the visit, the guest made an office tour visiting the facilities and administrative departments accompanied by the Honorable CEO. A token of appreciation were handed over to the honored guest at the end of the office tour visit.
