Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) recently celebrated the World Arabic Language Day on Monday, 12 December 2019 organized by The Arabic Language Club. The event attended by Dean of Faculty of Languages; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Flayyih Mudhhi Ahmed, Director Centre of Preparatory Studies & Languages; Prof. Dr. Daud Quadir Elega, Dean of Student Affairs Department; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doucoure Abdou Samadou, Advisor of the Arabic Language Club; Asst. Prof. Dr. Abduloh Usof, Head of the Arabic Language Department; Asst. Prof. Dr. Koussoube Issa and also attended by lecturers and students from both Faculty of Languages as well as Faculty of Islamic Sciences.

Al-Madinah International University held its 3rd Convocation Ceremony at Shah Alam Convention Centre (SACC), Shah Alam on Thursday, 14 November 2019. The graduation ceremony was conferred by the His Highness Prince Dr. Bandar bin Salman bin Muhammad AlSaud, University’s Chairman in the presence of university’s council members namely His ExcellencyProf Dr, Saad Nasser Alshiathry, Honorable Prof Dr. Mohammad Ali Al Oqla, Honorable Dr. Yahya Ibrahim A. Al Yahya, Prof.Datuk Syed Mohammad Al-Saggaf and Honorable Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Tamimi.

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences (FFAS) recently organized the 7th Global Waqf Conference 2019 with the theme “The Development, Management and Innovation of Waqf for Millennial Generation” (https://gwc2019.mediu.edu.my/) on 10-12 November 2019 at Menara Kembar Bank Rakyat, Kuala Lumpur.

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) participated in the International Conference on Informatics, Computing and Applied Mathematics (ICICAM 2019) with the theme “Fostering Knowledgeable Societies” held on 26-28 October 2019 at TH Hotel, Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu and organized by Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA).

Prof Dr Wan Sulaiman Wan Yusoff, Acting CEO MEDIU, Prof. Dr. Syed Omar Syed Agil, Director of Marketing, MEDIU with Ustaz Azizul and Cikgu Faiz from Maahad Tahfiz Al Munawwarah after their meeting to discuss possible collaboration. We will be giving an academic pathway for students from Tahfiz Schools to enter MEDIU.

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) received students delegation from Islamic Boarding School Modern Zam Zam Muhammadiyah, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia (https://www.ponpeszamzam.com/) on Wednesday, 23 October 2019. The delegation of students was as led by their school counselor, Mr. Muhammad Iqbal with the objective of the educational trip enables the students to gain more information on university’s development, academic programmes available as well as to gain exposure on the Arabic learning environment in the university.

Al-Madinah International University(MEDIU) received delegation visit from the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) based in Abuja, Nigeria on Tuesday, 15 October 2019. The visit aims to closely monitor and follow up on the level of their students, who are under their scholarships as well as to build relationship with the university. 

The Centre of Preparatory Studies & Languages (CPSL) of Al-Madinah International University(MEDIU) recently organized ‘2nd Arabic Language Seminar for the Non-Native Speakers in the South-East of Asia’ which was held at De Palma Hotel, Ampang in Kuala Lumpur from 12-16 September 2019. The opening session was presented by Dr. Saleh Al-Shithri, Professor of Arabic at King Khalid Military College in Saudi Arabia on ‘The Importance of Learning and Teaching Arabic Language’ in the presence of Prof. Dr. Haji Wan Sulaiman, Deputy CEO of Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) and Prof. Dr. Mutawakkil Abdullatif Al Fadini, Executive Director of MS Asia.
