MEDIU Executive Management Council (EMC) Meeting
MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired its 7th EMC meeting for 2014 on Monday, 24 February 2014. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO’s from all respective departments as well as executive management level. Various agenda were being addressed and discoursed in the meeting.

MQA Accreditation Visit
Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) panels and officers visited MEDIU for its accreditation visit for PhD and Master academic programmes on Saturday, 22 February 2014. The delegation panels were Dr.Saadan Man (UM), Dr.Azman Ab Rahman (USIM), Prof.Madya Dr.Salmah Ahmad (UKM) and Prof.Madya Dr.Zakaria Omar (UIA) meanwhile MQA officers were represented by Puan Suhana Ramli, Cik Normaliza Ikram and Puan Siti Nur Azreen Teroh.

MEDIU’s Academic Senate Meeting
MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 12th Academic Senate Meeting for 2014 on Friday, 21 February 2014. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments and academic deans. Throughout the session, various agenda on academic areas were being addressed and discoursed amongst the senate members.

Visit by Academic Attaché of The Embassy of Libya to MEDIU
MEDIU received an honoured guests from the Students Affairs Office of The Embassy of Libya on Tuesday, 18 February 2014. The delegates was led by Dr. Samir Karshman; Academic Attaché and his deputy; Dr. Abdulmajid Ali, and were welcomed by MEDIU’s Honourable CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi in his respective office.

Research and Development Division Meeting
Research and Development (R&D) Division held its 3rd board meeting for 2014 which was chaired by its Deputy CEO; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ab Rahim Ismail on Wednesday, 19 February 2014. The meeting was attended by the Deanship as well as the division committee members. Several agenda and recommendations were being discussed to be submitted to the Executive Management Committee (EMC) for approval.
