The Objective of the Paper:

After the completion of this subject, the student will be able to:

  • To acquaint the student with the fundamentals of a computer and how information is processed.
  • To teach the student the main components of a computer as well as what they are used for.
  • To expose the student to the fundamentals of networking, as well as how to manage a computer and the topic of information security.

  • أن يُلمَّ الطَالب بمقدَّمات أساسية عن الحاسب الآليِّ، وأسس معالجة البيانات.
  • أن يتعرَّف الطالب على نظام الكمبيوتر ومكوِّناته المختلفة ووظائفها.
  • أن يطلع الطالب على أسس الشبكات، ومبادئ إدارة الكمبيوتر، وتقنية أمن المعلومات.

Learning Outcome:

After the completion of this subject, the student will be able to:

  • Grow his knowledge and skills in operating a computer and managing it.
  • Use his knowledge of the computers to improve the methods of gaining knowledge.
  • Keep up-to-date and be able to understand the advances in communication sciences and technologies.
