MEDIU participated in the review of new constitution under Private Higher Educational Institutional which was held in Pan Pacific Hotel, KLIA, Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, 18 March 2010 (2 Rabi’ul Thani 1431H).The convention was organized by Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) which discussed about some of the new constitution articles and mutual exchange on the views and proposals were discussed between the private universities and MOHE. MEDIU was represented by Prof. Dr. Ir. Abbou Fouad Mohammed, Deputy Rector of Research and Development.
Currently, MOHE is in the midst of preparing the new standardization of the constitution for private universities. In addition, their aims are to unify the regulations for the private universities, its vision and objective as well as consideration of the private universities which constitute a large part in higher education institutional.
