Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU received an honored guest; Sheikh Salah Khalifa Mohammed Khalifa on Wednesday, 30 January 2012. Sheikh Salah Khalifa is a lecturer from Mu’tah University, Jordan and renowned as one of the worldwide editor of the noble Quran. The honored guest was welcomed by MEDIU’s Rector; Prof.Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi and MEDIU Management who expressed their pleasure for his visit.
Sheikh Salah Khalifa presented a valuable discourse session with the University’s employees on the history of the ten readings of Al-Quran and how it’s transition from generation to generation up to the present day. The honored guest also gave an overview for readers on the models of frequent and abnormal readings.
Sheikh Salah encouraged the audience on the Quran multiplication and its verses’ meditation; as it is one of the best acts of worship that draw man close to his God, dining with honorable angels in Paradise and honor him in this world and the Hereafter.
Q&A session was being held at the end of the discourse session and token of appreciation were presented to Sheikh Khalifa as a gratitude for his valuable time to visit MEDIU.
