MEDIU received an honoured guest; Mr. Mohammed bin Amer Mashani; Acting Ambassador Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman on Thursday, 24 March 2011. The honoured guest was welcomed by MEDIU’s Honorable Rector; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi and Assoc. Prof Dr Mowafak Abdulla Ahmed Al-Kusairy; Deputy Rector of Research and Development (R&D).
During his visit, a detailed explanation and procedures of the e-learning process done by MEDIU was presented to the honored guest by Chief Technology Officer; Mr. Sirag Elnour. This was later followed by an office tour around MEDIU’s academic and administrative facilities. During the discussion session, both parties expressed their desire to extend the bridges of cooperation in the future.
At the end of the visit Mr. Mohammed bin Amer Mashani expressed his respect to the University’s by writing in the guestbook saying “I’m honoured by my visit to this University, which I hope to be one of the universities with the leadership both in Arab and Islamic worlds, with Allah’s willing. I hope all the success and more prosperity to this University.”
