Courtesy visit by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Guinea to MEDIU

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Founder of “Mercure international University”, Mr. George Georges Gandhi Faraquet Tounkara from State of Guinea visited the headquarters of Al-Madinah international University (MEDIU) on Friday morning, 22 October 2010.

The Honorable Minister was accompanied by the delegation of the diplomatic members of the embassy of Guinea in Malaysia. The honored guest was welcomed by MEDIU’s Honorable Rector; Prof. Dr. Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al-Tamimi, Manager of Administrative Affairs Division; by Mr. Khalid Mahamat Idriss Ahamat along with MEDIU’s academician.

The honored minister and delegation was brought for a site tour to all the departments in the University’s ground including the Shah Alam Learning Centre in Level 14 to view the facilities and hi-tech services provided for the student accompanied by MEDIU’s Management personnel. The minister were much impressed with the advanced level MEDIU had reached and praised the management for the great role in providing education to the Muslims around the world.

His honorable Minister expressed his admiration and wrote in the guestbook saying “I am impressed with all that I have seen and well done for all the hard work and dedication that is being done at the University and I would like to congratulate on the modern equipments and the good environment of studies in your University.”

At the end of the visit, a token of gratitude was presented to Mr. George Georges Gandhi Faraquet Tounkara by MEDIU’s Honorable Rector and he was pleased by the hospitality and honor given by the university.
