Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) hosted an official visit to His Royal Highness Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Syed Putra Jamalullail, Raja of Perlis in Istana Perlis, Arau on Wednesday, 17 August 2016. The delegation visit was led by Honorable CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Tamimi accompanied by Mr. Ahmed Al-Tamimi and Head of Public Relations, Mr. Jamaluddin Hussain.
The session was attended in the presence of Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Ibni Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail, Crown Prince of the Malaysian state of Perlis and Honorable Mufti State of Perlis, Sahibus Samahah Prof. Madya Dato’ Arif Perkasa Dr. Mohd Asri Bin Zainul Abidin.
The visit provided an opportunity to exchange views and discuss ways to facilitate the exchange of knowledge between the two parties, especially in the dissemination of Islamic knowledge. Meanwhile,in a meeting with His Royal Highness Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin, Honorable CEO states on his firm to the education sector in Malaysia, especially in the field of Islamic studies and in maintaining the quality of learning educational. He also thanked the hospitality service that was given to him for the short visit and a memorial shield was presented to His Royal Highness Raja of Perlis as a recognition and honor.
Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Tamimi stressed that the university management to approve the implementation of several recommendations in the progress of scientific research and intellectual and creative production for the development of the university and thanked the state government in helping to achieve the aspirations of the university.
