Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) visited the Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Qatar on Wednesday, 2 May 2012. The delegation was led by MEDIU’s Rector; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi along with Deputy Rector, International Relations; Asst. Prof Dr. Ahmad A. Al-Shiha. Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs were represented by Dr.Ghaith bin Mubarak Al-Kawari.
The purpose of the visit is to seek future cooperation between the two parties, to emphasize their role in the communicating with different Islamic institutions in both regional and international for the dissemination of knowledge between Muslims, and to create a modern educational researches environment to the Muslims Generations worldwide.
At the end of the visit, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi expressed his gratitude and admiration of the achievements done by the Ministry in serving all the Muslims and the role which has been adopted in dissemination of goodness among Muslims society.
