Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) received an honored guest; Sheikh Dr. Yahya Ibrahim A. Al Yahya, MEDIU’s council member and prominent lecturer in the Faculty of Arabic, Al-Qassim University, Saudi Arabia University on Monday, 14 March 2016. The honored guest expressed his gratitude to the University’s management for a goodwill visit with the opportunity to give a short lecture to the university’s staff.
The program begins with a welcoming remarks by Dean of Scientific Research, Assoc. Prof.Dr.Sekou Toure in which he explains the personal profile of Sheikh Dr.Yahya and his achievements and services in the field of Islamic education. Sheikh Dr.Yahya were honored to deliver a brief lecture on “The approaches in assessing matters” to the management and staff of the university.
Sheikh Dr. Yahya started his lecture with explaining on the basic concepts in the approach to assess things and its role in evaluating things in everyday life, and as far as the impact and importance in judging a matter in relation to human life. He also stressed that according to the Islamic religion the right approach in handling a case and matter. Islam urged and strongly emphasizing the truth, the things and continue to be vigilant of judging things from the perspective of doubt and conjecture and rumor. He also focused on the objectives that have been defined in the Qur’an will discourse the term “justice” is the most important principle in the approach to assess things.
Sheikh Dr Yahya bin Ibrahim Al-Yahya is MEDIU’s Council Member and born in 1957 in the city of Buraidah, Saudi Arabia. He is an expert in the biography and history of the Prophet and held management positions at the University of Al-Qassim, Saudi Arabia.
