MEDIU participated in Selangor Islamic Education Convention on 8th December 2009 which was held in Dewan Raja Muda Musa, Kompleks Belia & Kebudayaan, Shah Alam. The convention was organized by the committee of Selangor State Council of Education, Higher Education and Moral Character Development. The convention was launched by YAB Tan Sri Dato’ Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, Selangor Chief Minister and YB Dr.Hajah Halimah Ali, Selangor State Council of Education.
The exhibition has attracted a wide participation of Selangor’s Islamic educational and religious schools, teachers and academician as well as Parents and Teachers Association (PTA). MEDIU’s exhibition in the convention has also witnessed a wide turnout from the participators especially from educational institution and parents who wished to send their students to further their knowledge in Islamic based courses.
During the exhibition, the Arabic Short Course offered by MEDIU was the one the participators were looking forward to as they would like to expand their knowledge in Arabic. The methods of delivery, they courses offered were introduced and explained to the visitors. The visitors expressed their deep pleasure to MEDIU for the effort in promoting Islamic studies to the Muslims in Selangor.
