MEDIU received visitors from Universitas Sjahkhyakirti, Palembang, Indonesia on Monday morning at 9.00am. The visitors comprised of Prof. Dr. H.Zaidan Nawawi, M.Si, the Rector of Universitas Sjahkhyakirti, Dr.Drs.Ardiyan Saptawan, M.Si, the Director of the Masters Programmes along with the 56 students from the Masters Programmes in Management and Administration field. The objectives of the visit are to gain insight on MEDIU as “The World’s Preferred Virtual Islamic Online University”, the operation and its method of delivery as well as to strengthen the relationship between the two countries.
The programme begins with a welcoming remark by our Honourable MEDIU’s Rector, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi followed by an overall review of Al-Madinah International University, its teaching methods and administrative procedures were presented to the visitors. A multimedia presentation of online web meeting, Advanced Learning and Interactive Management System (ALIM) and Digital Library also was presented during the visits by the MEDIU Team consist of Assoc.Prof.Dr.Abid Abdelouahab, Mohd Alwi bin Yusoff and Abdul Latef Al-Hadri.
