MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired its 27th EMC meeting on Tuesday, 18June 2013. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments as well as executive management level. Various agenda were being addressed and discoursed in the meeting.
The EMC has agreed and approved on the matters as follows:
– To appoint ‘CSPM Sdn. Bhd.’ for the maintenance of the server room air-conditioner for a duration of 1 year
– The committee formation will consist of MEDIU’s Finance Manager, Legal Advisor, and Manger of Administrative Affair Division to study the issue from all aspects. Recommendation will be forwarded to EMC for approval.
– To offer the subject ‘Industrial Training’ (CICT4536) in June 2013.
– To assign Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hatem Bahieej as Deputy Dean, Computer and Information Technology(online)
– Committee decided to compensate the overloaded lecturers for the April 2013 semester
– To give the initial approval of the proposal submitted by the Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences and the Faculty of Computer Sciences in regard of organizing the 3rd International Conference on Islamic Finance in collaboration with the Path Solution.
– To extend the contracts for two postgraduate students who have been chosen for working as part-time staff in the Library Department for a period of six months.
– To appoint ‘Abdul Rahman Al-Jounaidy’ as Head, Cataloguing and Indexing Department for 1 year period; subject to renewal.
– To assign ‘Ms. Rana Abdul Hamid Ahmad Salem’ for the position of Deputy Director of MEDIU Center for Training and Continuing Education (Cairo).
– To implement on establishing training courses from MEDIU Center for Training and Continuing Education for administrative staff.
– To create new unit ‘Topic Generating Unit’ under Topics Bank Department.
– To assign the Manager of the Topics Bank to prepare the job description of this unit.
– To assign the IT Division to publish the guidelines for the following section:
- ALIM student page.
- Dean of Postgraduate Board page.
- Special page concerning the evidence and the instructions inside the gate of the student.
