Vacancy: Web Developer
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Location: Al Madinah International University, Kuala Lumpur
Responsibilities:
- Identify user and system requirements for new websites and applications. Design, build, improve and maintain new and existing websites including main website, journal sites (OJS), faculty websites and library system website (KOHA).
- Create wireframes to decide on layout and liaise with designers to decide on UI/UX elements e.g. graphics and navigation buttons.
- Run functionality tests and debug code including code reviews.
- Edit, write, design website content and direct the junior web developers or interns on content developments.
- Set timelines and assign tasks to junior web developers and interns and direct or perform website updates and ensure the web technology stack / framework is up-to-date.
- Oversee junior web developers and evaluate their performance.
- Maintain an understanding of the latest web applications and programming practices through education, study and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups.
- Provide demonstration of the websites to the potential stakeholders or official visitors or guests.
- Any other relevant tasks requested by the management.
