Mission
- Strengthening and deepening students linguistic, communicative and cultural skills.

- Qualifying the student with the necessary linguistic skills in order to deepen his/her study to the language, researching it, knowing its realities and realizing its secrets.
Objectives
- To enrich the student’s knowledge of Arabic language sciences.
- To prepare the student to become as a future researcher in the various branches of Arabic language.
- To fulfill the student’s missionary, interactive and social skills.
Learning Outcomes
- Qualify students to achieve the best effective level in applying language and linguistic aspects in its spoken and written forms.
- Qualify students to use the best applicable functional approach in using and mastering Arabic language and all its linguistic and functional aspects.
- Create a generation of scholars and specialists in scientific researches in the field of Arabic language and Arabic linguistics.
- Authenticate the specialized scientific methods for the study of Arabic language and its developments.
- Propagate Islamic values and principles through the Arabic language.
Entry Requirements
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree (Honours) with good grades from MEDIU, or any other institutions of higher learning recognized by the university OR any other certificate that is recognized as equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree (Honours) or other relevant professional qualification and experience that are recognized by the University.
- A relevant General Bachelor’s degree (without Honours) with at least one year working experience, and, if deemed necessary, an applicant may be interviewed and/or required to sit for an entrance test in order to determine determine the applicants eligibility for admission to a specific programme.
- The department of faculty may, with the approval of the University Academic Council (UAC), require the applicant to satisfy additional conditions for admission to a specific programme.

STRUCTURE A
The applicant is required to study a subject named Research Methodology, then the applicant can start the research under the supervision of an academic member of the Postgraduate Studies Department.
