MEDIU 1st Convocation Ceremony

Al-Madinah International University held its 1st Convocation Ceremony on Thursday, 8 December 2011. The graduation ceremony was conferred by the Deputy Minister, Ministry Awqaf and Islamic Affairs of Kuwait; His Excellency Dr. Adil Abdullah Al-Falah with the presence of H.E Mohamed Reda Abu Al-Hamayel; Ambassador Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ambassador to Malaysia,  H.E. Monther Bader Sulaiman AlEissa; Ambassador of the State Kuwait and H.E. Nadir Yousif El-Tayeb Babiker; Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan. Other delegation includes His Excellency Dr. Farid Al Emadi; Special Assistant from the Ministry Awqaf and Islamic Affairs of Kuwait, Mr. Mohamed Youssef Alsager, Mr. Jamal Al-Hadad,  Mr. Mohammed Essa Aljame of Arcapita Bank, Mr. Mohammed Fouad Al Ghanim along with University’s management. The graduation ceremony were also attended by the University’s deans and lecturers of faculties, staffs and students of the University’s whom witness the graduation ceremony of  40 undergraduate and 27 postgraduate students.

MEDIU’s Rector; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi in his welcoming speech expressed his appreciation and gratefulness to all the individual contributors and charity organizations which have made and continue in providing the University’s with all the sources and facilities. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi explained that the University’s already achieved its great achievements and deserved to celebrate this first graduation ceremony for its undergraduate and postgraduate’s students. He stated that in the future, the University’s will focus on research aspect in order to be recognized as research universities particularly to upgrade the rank.
