MEIDU has celebrated for the achievements of the quantitative objectives for the first quarter of 2012 on 23/04/2012. The celebration program consisted of presentations for the achievements of quantitative objectives in the first quarter of 2012 of all divisions.
It was honored by the presence of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MEIDU; his excellency Prof. Dr Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Tamimi, along with his deputy Rectors, the Registrar, Managers of divisions, Deans of faculties, heads of Departments, and MEIDU staff.
Overall, the percentage of the completed objectives of the University in the first quarter were 78%, the slipping objectives reached up to 18%, On-Hold were 3%, Dropped 0.5%, and finally Carried Forward objectives were 0.5%.
In order to enrich the development of the work in the university and improve the quality and efficiency of the MEDIU staff, the CEO honored the nominated staff from each division for their hard-work in January, February, and March of 2012. He has honored the best staff of MEDIU from those nominated for the last three months. The winners were chosen via lucky draw. The best staff out of the three chosen ones got an award of cash gift from welfare fund, while the remaining two got recognition certificates.
The honored staffs were as following:
- Mr. Azfar Rais from the Technology Division (TCD) was declared as the best staff of January 2012.
- Mr. Ahmad Fauzan from the Administration Affairs Division (AAD) was declared as the best staff of February 2012.
- Mr. Ammar Bathich from the Academic Affairs Division (ACD) was declared as the best staff of March 2012.
These awards are given based on the approved criteria by the EMC. These criteria included: filling the daily report, both punctuality and regularity of the staff in the attendance record, contributing some useful and productive ideas or projects for the university, and supporting the teamwork spirit.
