MEDIU Executive Management Council (EMC) Meeting

 MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired an EMC meeting on Thursday, February 7, 2013. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments as well as executive management level. Various agenda and topics as well as several concerns on MEDIU’s development and progress were being addressed and discoursed in the meeting.

 

The EMC has agreed and approved on the matters as follows:

 

1. To implement the procedures of organizing the International Islamic Finance Conference as to be undertaken by the  Islamic Sciences Faculty, the procedures are as follows:

 

1. Formation of the committee members for the conference (consist of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences faculty members)

 

                  i.  Deputy Chief Executive for Research and Development            (President)

                 ii.  Dean of Scientific Research                                                           (Member)

                 iii.  Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences                                       (Member)

                iv.  Head of Advocacy and Fundamentals of Religion                                      (Member) 

                 v.  Head of Fiqh Department                                                               (Member)    

                vi.  Head of Al-Hadeeth Science Department                                     (Member)    

               vii.  Head of the Al-Quran Science Department                                   (Member) 

 

1. The deanship will prepare a proposal which includes conference title (name), partnership and objectives.
2. Discuss the title of the conference and its objectives by the team members of the conference before approval.
3. Formation of a working group to connect with funders and sponsors of the conference.
4. Determine the time and venue of the conference.
5. Preparing publications and periodicals of the conference.
6. To send formal invitations to join the conference.
7. Conference evaluation forms to be prepared by the Deanship of Scientific Research.
8. Published the Conference Papers in the university magazine (Majma).

 

1. Assigning Mr. Mohammed Abdullah Ali Al-Khawlani as a full time Lecturer in Faculty of Computer & Information Technology (FCIT). The recommendation is based on the candidate fulfilment of the position qualifications and requirements.

 

1. Assigning Dr. Flayyih Mudhhi Ahmed Al-Samrrai as a full time Lecturer in Faculty of Languages. The recommendation is based on the candidate fulfilment of the position qualifications and requirements.

 

1. Assigning Mr. Ahmed Konte as a full time Lecturer in Faculty of Finance & Administrative Science. The recommendation is based on the candidate fulfilment of the position qualifications and requirements.

 

1. Assigning Mr. Ahmed Abdirahman Hersi as a full time Lecturer in Faculty of Finance & Administrative Science. The recommendation is based on the candidate fulfilment of the position qualifications and requirements.
