MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired its 25th EMC meeting on Friday, 7 June 2013. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments as well as executive management level. Various agenda were being addressed and discoursed in the meeting.
The EMC has agreed and approved on the matters as follows:
- To postpone the consideration of the proposal submitted by the Technology Division. The initial perception to be submitted by the Deputy Head of Technology Division latest by Monday, 10-06-2013. The Committee shall submit the final conception 3 weeks from the date of 10-06-2013.
- To add in the Quantitative Objectives for the Faculty of Finance & Administrative Sciences for the year 2013.
- To assign a contract with ‘Mr. Ammar Hattab’ to finalize all technical requirements of the ‘Questions Bank’ before the beginning of the new semester of September 2013.
- To conduct an educational training for the academic staff that aim to enhance their skills and writing and reviewing questions. This training shall be offered with the assist between faculty of education and the Deanship of University Development and Quality.
- To approve the fees structure of the Foundation in Arabic Language and Foundation in Islamic Sciences program.
- To allow postponing the payment of the tuition fees for the student until they get their loans and to hold the certificates until the payment is being delivered.
- To pay the operational cost of the two hostel units as an ‘advance’ from the University.
- To increase the commissions of bringing student to the agents as proposed below :

- The current commissions commence once the student paid their first semester tuition fees; while the differences to be paid once the student has paid for two semesters in advance or at the beginning of the second semester.
- Approval on the proposal by ‘Global Education Training Center’ to brings 40 school teachers and counselors from the Segamat, Johor District Education Office to visit MEDIU on 12 June 2013 as well as budget on the program.
