MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired its 45th EMC meeting on Friday, 1 November 2013. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO’s from all respective departments as well as executive management level. Various agenda were being addressed and discoursed in the meeting.
The EMC has agreed and approved on the matters as follows:
– To purchase a new camera for the Students Counselling and Activities Department to cover all activities of the department (internal and external activities).
– To purchase new football jersey with University’s logo to be used for any official football matches with others universities or internally.
– To purchase two(2) sets of First Aid Box for the use of the Students Counselling and Activities Department and Student Services Department.
– To appoint Prof. Dr. Abdul Basir bin Mohamad as external examiner of Phd in Qada’ and Siyasah Shar’iyyyah, Faculty of Islamic Sciences.
– To appoint Prof. Dr. Mohd. Nasir Omar as as external examiner of Phd in Da’wah, Faculty of Islamic Sciences.
– To promote ‘Dr. Umar Aliyu Abu Bakar’ as lecturer to Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Islamic Sciences as he has been awarded with PhD in Fiqh.
– To approve on the exemption of tuition fees (for SEP 2013 ) for MEDIU’s Staff whom further their postgraduate courses as below:
- Abdoul Rahman Al Jounaidi Master in Business Management (By Research)
- Jibril Muhammad Master in Islamic Finance (By Research)
- Abdullah Mohsin Alsaqqaf Master in Fiqh (By Research)
