MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired its 51st EMC meeting on Tuesday, 10 December 2013. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO’s from all respective departments as well as executive management level. Various agenda were being addressed and discoursed in the meeting.
The EMC has agreed and approved on the matters as follows:
– To amend the name of “Scientific Management and Graduation Department” to “Academic Administration and Graduation Department”.
– To transfer ‘Basem Esmail Thabit Ali’ to the Department of Academic Development.
– To assign the post of Vice Deputy Dean of Library Affairs (Acquisition Affairs) to Dr. Mohamad Said Nour.
– To assign the post of Vice Deputy Dean of Library Affairs (Cataloguing and Quality) to Dr. Mohamad Mahmoud Abdulmehdi.
– To assign the post of Vice Deputy Dean of Library Affairs (Publishing Rules and URLs ) to Dr Omran Khalaf Mohamad.
– To assign ‘Madhom Ahmad’ as Administrative Assistant in the Library Information and Reference Department.
– To approve the recommendation of renewing working contract of ‘Fakhrul Islam’ due to his good performance in the Library Department.
– To approve the recommendation of MOU’s with Foundations in South East Asia as follows;
- Jakarta Charity Organization – Indonesia
- South East Asia Foundation for Development – Philippines
- Turath Islamy Foundation for South East Asia – Thailand
- Manabi Alkhair – Cambodia
– To approve the recommendation by International Relation Division on MoU plan with Almoflhat University, India; Center of Islamic Research, Sweden and AlHikmah Alyamaniah Foundation, Yemen.
– To approve the recommendation of renewing the MoU’s with the following foundations as follows;
- Turath islamy Foundation Office – Côte d’Ivoire.
- Dar Al-Hadith Institute – Mauritania
- Baldwin University – Somalia
- Education and Development Organization – Ghana
- Almanahil Academic – USA
– To approve the recommendation of MoU’s plan with the following foundations as follows;
- African Foundation for Education and Development – Rwanda
- Dar Al-Hadith Foundation – Tunisia
- Alnahda Foundation for Education – Kenya
- Al-Eman School – Comoros
- Almanahej Institute for Research – Algeria
