MEDIU Executive Management Council (EMC) Meeting

MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired an EMC meeting on Friday, 22 February 2013. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments as well as executive management level. Various agenda and topics as well as several concerns on MEDIU’s appointment of academic staff as well matters pertaining students visa were being addressed and discoursed in the meeting.

The EMC has agreed and approved on the matters as follows:

  • To appoint ‘Dr.Qamar El-Zaman Ghazal’ as a voluntarily lecturer for two subjects in the Faculty of Islamic Sciences (online learning).
  • To appoint ‘Dr. Mohammed Rafiq El-Islam’ as a full time Assistant Professor for the Faculty of Islamic Sciences (online learning).
  • To appoint ‘Dr. Khalid Mohammed Ghanem’ as a full time Assistant Professor for the Faculty of Languages (online learning).
  • To appoint ‘Dr. Noor Khalid Hindi’ as a full time Assistant Professor for the Faculty of Languages (online learning).
  • To appoint ‘Dr.Ashraf Hassan Mohamed’ as a full time Assistant Professor for the Faculty of Languages (online learning).
  • To appoint ‘Dr.Kamel Anwar Saeed Mohamad’ as a full time Assistant Professor for the Faculty of Languages (online learning).
  • To appoint ‘Dr.Nabil Abdul Hadi’ as a Deputy Head of Education Department.
  • MEDIU’s new student should paid in advance on certain matters namely; ‘calling visa’, ‘student sticker’ and ‘administrative and service fees’ as per stated below:

  • To modify the information regarding the international student tuition fees and on the procedures of ‘calling visa’ in the appendix of the new students offer letter.
  • To approve the coordination of visa application process for applicant’s dependents/followers along with the applicant’s application; provided the process and tuition fees are paid in full for a period of two (2) semesters.
