MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired an EMC meeting on Friday, 15 March 2013. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments as well as executive management level. Various agenda and topics as well as several concerns on MEDIU’s development progress were being addressed and discoursed in the meeting.
The EMC has agreed and approved on the matters as follows:
- To appoint two postgraduate students; ‘FAKHRUL ISLAM’ and ‘SIRAJ BALA UMAR’ as part-time staff for the department of library management.
- To approve the request submitted by ZAAZs to increase RM2.90 per foot to the previous price which was approved by the EMC Minutes No.[MEDIUMYGOV5.3.1(13)006] RM4.9 per (ft2) to be RM7.8 per (ft2) due to the following reasons:
a) For breaking and preparing the floor.
b) To transfer all the waste out the Tower.
c) To upgrade the base of the tile from 20 mm to 76 mm.
- To assign the ‘ZNZ’ to hack and dig the floors including installing floor trunking and compartment to the previous contract regarding the electricity extension.
