MEDIU participates in the Conference of Methods of Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers in ILDAS, Selangor

Al-Madinah International University(MEDIU) participates in the Conference of Methods of Teaching Arabic to Non Native Speakers with the theme “Towards a curriculum and effective teaching methods to teach the Arabic language”. The conference was held in Institut Latihan Dakwah Selangor (ILDAS) in Sabak Bernam, Selangor from 18 – 19 October 2013.  ILDAS or known as Training and Advocacy Institute is a centre under the administrative of Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS).

MEDIU’s were represented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdallah Ahmad Abdallah; Dean Faculty of Languages, Mr.Mohamad Anas Naji; Lecturer from the Faculty of Islamic Sciences and Mr.Ahmed Jakmiri; Lecturer from the Centre of Languages. The representatives presented a research paper entitled “The development of Arabic language skills from the non-native speakers”, “The Arabic language learning methods to non-native Arabic speakers in Ibn Khaldun School, Shah Alam”  and “The Arabic language learning methods to non-native Arabic speakers in MEDIU (Model: Malaysian students)”  respectively. Among the participation of the conference are universities and schools teachers, lecturers and academician in Arabic language.

Towards the end, the organizer emphasized on such efforts towards the development of the Arabic learning methods and to deliberate on the existing curriculum as well as to emphasis on using the latest modern technology in delivering the Arabic language to the non-native speakers.
