MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 13th academic senate meeting on Wednesday, 13 March 2013. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments and academic deans. Throughout the session, various agenda and topics as well as several concerns on academic areas were being addressed and discoursed amongst the senate members.
Among the discussions that have been agreed and approved by the senate members are as follows:
- To award ‘MOHAMMED MUSTAFA AHMED SHUAIB’, student majoring PhD in Usul Al-Fiqh (Structure A)
- To award ‘YAHYA BEN TALEEB ZIDANE’, student majoring Master of Education (Curriculum and Instruction) (Structure A)
- To award ‘MOHAMED HAMED ABDULLAH HAMID EBADI’, student majoring Master in Tafsir And ‘Ulum Al-Qur’an (Structure A)
- To award ‘NAEEM ABDUL RAZZAQ AL-KHATTAB’, student majoring Master in Arabic Literature and Literary Criticism (Structure B)
- To award ‘AHMAD BIN ABDALLAH BIN ZAID ALZENAIDI’, student majoring Master in Fiqh (Structure B)
- To award ‘NDIOGOU SAMB’, student majoring Master in Fiqh (Structure B)
- To terminate a number of ‘22’ students; whom have exceeded the allowable limit of deferment status.
- To re-enroll a student ‘WEDAD-AD668’ for February 2013 intake.
