MEDIU CEO Cup Football Tournament among faculties was held on Saturday, 16 March 2013. The opening ceremony was done by the Dean of Student Affairs; Asst. Prof. Dr. Moussa Oumar Keita and was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Mubarak Munssour Ebodey; Dean Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences, Mahmoud Al-Zgool; Head of Student Counseling and Activities Department as well as Jamaluddin Hussain; Head of Public Relations. The tournament was held for two round (morning and afternoon session) and was held in the public football field in Section 8, Shah Alam.
The morning session was a match between the students from the Faculty of Islamic Sciences vs. the Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences. Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences won the match with a score of 7-0. A second match was held between the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology and Faculty of Languages; where the results were 6-0. The qualified team for the final match is Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences vs. Faculty of Computer and Information Technology
The final match for the MEDIU’s CEO Cup was ended with victory for Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences with a score of 2-1 against the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology. Later; the Dean of Student Affairs; Asst. Prof. Dr. Moussa Oumar Keita extend his heartiest congratulations to the winning team ‘Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences’ on their outstanding performance in the tournament and wish the best for the rest of the faculties for future sports activities progress.
