Microsoft Singapore Centre team for Microsoft Corporation visited MEDIU on Friday, 5 April 2013 to prepare a documentary film on the University to be displayed on the company’s official site. Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) is selected by Microsoft as a model for Malaysian universities that have been successful in the use of applications (Microsoft 365) within the scope of the educational and educational process. The delegation team was received by the MEDIU’s Manager of Administrative Affairs; Mr. Fuad Ahmad Umar Al’As and Deputy Director of Technical Department; Mr. Ahmad Nimer.
Mr. Fuad Ahmad briefed the delegation on the University’s development and progress and considered MEDIU as the first Malaysian university that used integrated technology applications in online learning in the educational process as its educational system. The establishment of the online learning has succeeded in attracting students more than 90 nationalities around the world during the past five years since its establishment.
He also stated that MEDIU’s employees – almost 350 staff in total is using Microsoft applications in the application and technical support system in terms of communication between all the employees of the University’s along with its service centers in several countries around the world.
At the end of the meeting, Microsoft Team visited the University facilities for the preparation of documentary film and to meet with the technical staff of MEDIU.
