The university has step forward in extending bridges of cooperation and moving ahead towards achieving its objective and vision, as well to be in connection with international university by signing a memorandum with AL-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU), Jordan on Thursday, 26 November 2015.
The session was signed between MEDIU’s CEO, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi and Prof.Sadeq Hamed, President of AL-Ahliyya Amman University. The MoU between the two universities collaborate efforts to establish and develop academic exchange and co-operation in teaching, training, research and development in the activities among others to promote exchange of online learning technologies, to exchange of information and materials of mutual interest, to promote and facilitate the exchange of research, teaching staff as well as students and others.
AL-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU) (http://www.ammanu.edu.jo/) is the first private university in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The university was founded in the year 1990 by an official decree from the Ministry of Higher Education and Research and offers 29 bachelor programmes and 6 master programmes accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education. AAU has adopted Information Technology as an essential ingredient in its activities, especially e-learning and it has incorporated it its educational processes in all fields of specialization to become the first such university in Jordan to do so.
