MEDIU has step forward in extending bridges of cooperation and moving ahead towards achieving its objective and vision, as well to be in connection with international university. Recently, MEDIU signed a memorandum of understanding with Yarmouk University in Jordan on Tuesday, 29 December 2015. Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) has been listed as the universities of Malaysia recognized and recommended by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Jordan (for the conventional education system).
The agreement was in the framework of training cooperation and the adoption of the training curriculum between the two parties and was signed between MEDIU’s Honorable CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi and President of Yarmouk University; Prof. Refat Alfaouri. The partnership aims to strengthen cooperation between the two universities, especially in the field of training and education services. The agreement also includes a framework for the development of training programs and the organization of training courses and workshops in a variety of fields that can be beneficial to both universities.
Yarmouk University (http://www.yu.edu.jo/) was established in June 1976 by a Royal Decree and is a public university in Irbid in northern Jordan. The university has developed steadily into one of the largest and most prestigious state-supported educational institutions in Jordan. Among the faculties available at Yarmouk University namely Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Shari’a and Islamic Studies, Faculty of Hijjawi for Engineering Technology, Faculty of Education and many more.
